Registration
News (March 7th, 2023): In response to the request of some researchers, interested in attending to the workshop, we have postponed the deadline for early-bird registrations until March 30th.

Selection
The total number of Workshop participants including speakers is limited to 150, to facilitate interactions. The target audience is postdoctoral fellows and PhD students but applications from senior scientists with experience in different areas of polyphosphate studies are also welcome.
Acceptance will be mostly on a first come first served basis, but CVs and submitted abstracts, representation of different topics at the event, career stage, geographical distribution and gender balance may be taken into consideration.
How to register
- Complete a registration order through the web platform: https://cadiz-en.congresoseci.com/polyphosphate23/registration .
- At the end of this process will you receive the instructions of our how to pay through a bank transfer (We are in the process of making credit card payments also possible on this platform by mid-February).
- Complete a registration/abstract submission (Register/Login) on this event website (at the top right) by entering your details on the registration form.
- During this process, upload a single file (accepted formats are pdf, zip and rar) containing all supporting documents for your application:
- for postdocs and PhD students, the name and address of your lab head/supervisor and a summary of your reasons for applying to the event and your research interests (max 300 words).
- Submit your abstract via the 'My abstract' tab in the registration/abstract portal. Abstract submission is optional but highly recommended: participants with the best presented abstract could be selected as speakers.
They can also help you to arrange flights and transportation to the event if you wish (not included in the registration fee).

Notification
An ‘order received e-mail’ message with full instructions on how to pay is automatically sent to your inbox when you complete an order (in preparation). An 'order confirmed e-mail’ message will be sent to you when organizers receive the fund and confirm your registration payment. Notification on abstract assessment and acceptance to the event will be made later by May 1st, 2023.

As a guideline, a shared double room has an approximate price of 70€-80€ per night per person. A room for single use has an approximate price of 120€-150€ per night per person (including 10% VAT).

FEBS YTF Award applications
Deadline for FEBS Youth Travel Fund (YTF) award applications in this workshop is February 21st, 2023. Pre-selected applications will be sent to FEBS, which should send the final decision by the end of March or beginning of April. In case that the award is not granted, registration with an early-bird fee will be allowed.
Accompanying persons
Registrations for accompanying person are available. He/She will be welcome to the two social dinners (on days 1 and 3) and the social activity (on day 2). He/She will not participate in the scientific sessions nor perform professional and/or marketing activities at the meeting locations. This fee does not include accomodation.
Acompaying person fee is 200€, plus 21% VAT.

Terms and Conditions
By registering for the event, participants (also referred to as 'you') are entering an agreement with the Workshop Organizers and you are indicating acceptance to the terms and conditions set out below.
Methods of Payment
Payments can be made by Credit Card or Bank Transfer. You will receive instructions to do your registration payment. Following the payment, receipt of the transaction must be sent to the Technical secretariat* via email to polyphosphates2023@viajeseci.es
Proof of payment must be received before the stated deadline. If you do not receive an ‘order confirmed email’ within 5 business days after sending your proof of payment / receipt of transaction, please contact polyphosphates2023@viajeseci.es
Registration cancellation & refund policy
All registration cancellation requests should be sent to polyphosphates2023@viajeseci.es in writing. For cancellation requests received on or before April 9th, 2023, the full payment, less bank charges, will be refunded; for cancellation requests received on and after April 9th, 2023, the full amount will be charged and no refunds will be made.
Modification and cancellation of the event
The Workshop Organizers reserve the right to modify the event programme, which is published as an indication only.
In the event of cancellation of the event, at any time, as a result of events outside of the reasonable control of the Workshop Organizers, including, where applicable, (but not limited to) pandemic, natural disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire or closure of airports, the registration fee shall be refunded (less bank charges) by the Workshop Organizers but neither the Workshop Organizers nor FEBS shall be held liable for any other costs or losses incurred. The Workshop Organizers reserve the right to cancel the event due to disruption caused by Covid-19. Where possible, they will endeavour to provide reasonable advance notice of any such cancellation.
Disclaimer
Where the event is hosted virtually, the Workshop Organizers and FEBS do not guarantee that the event hosting site and its related software, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We will not be liable to you for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising under or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the event hosting site and its related software. We do not guarantee that the event hosting site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses and you are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programmes and platform to access the event hosting site.
In the absence of any negligence or other breach of duty by the Workshop Organizers or FEBS, these parties shall not be responsible for any bodily injury, illness, death or property damages (including theft) sustained by participants during the event whether the event be attended at a venue or via the event hosting site.
In any event, whether the event be attended at a venue or via the event hosting site, neither the Workshop Organizers nor FEBS accept liability for damages or costs in the event of bodily injury, death, property damage, illness, disruption to travel plans and costs incurred as a result of events outside of the reasonable control of the Workshop Organizers or FEBS, including, where applicable, (but not limited to) pandemic, natural disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire or closure of airports.
Governing law
Any legal dispute resulting from the accepted terms and conditions will be subject to the law of Spain, and by accepting these terms you are submitting yourself to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain.
